The Westminster Christian Warriors will face off against the Aurora Christian Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westminster Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Westminster Christian's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Christian Liberty 10-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brian Powers and Luke Bartolome did most of the damage at the plate: Powers went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Bartolome went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Powers has become a key player for Westminster Christian: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Vaagen, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Aurora Christian entered their match against Marian Central Catholic on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles lost 12-4 to the Hurricanes.
Aurora Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Niedzwiecki, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Kaleb Elwood was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
Aurora Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Westminster Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Westminster Christian's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Warriors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Aurora Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Westminster Christian continue to outrun the ball?
Westminster Christian skirted past Aurora Christian 2-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
