The Port Allegany Gators will challenge the Keystone Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Keystone will be up against a hot Port Allegany squad: the team just extended their winning streak to ten. The Gators put the hurt on Brockway with a sharp 48-22 victory two weeks ago. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Rovers are ranked 212th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Port Allegany didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jarrod Funk and Liam Hawver. Hawver is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Port Allegany received some extra help from Nick Wilfong, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Keystone really took it to Kane for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-7 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Port Allegany better keep an eye on Dom Corcetti. He was instrumental in Keystone's win, rushing for 164 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 81 yards and one TD. Corcetti's passing game has become a key predictor of the Panthers' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-5 otherwise. James Rankin was Corcetti's top target, picking up three receiving yards.
Keystone was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 267 rushing yards. They are 5-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Keystone now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Port Allegany, their record is now 10-0.
Saturday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Port Allegany has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 292.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Keystone struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 271.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Port Allegany against Keystone in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 57-14 win. In that game, the Gators amassed a halftime lead of 50-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
