Barker is 0-10 against Medina since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 4:45 p.m. Barker will be strutting in after a victory while Medina will be coming in after a defeat.
Barker is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 13-8 win over Perry on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Ireland Brady made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up six earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Noah Sandolfini, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Prynn, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Medina finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell 4-1 to Wellsville. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Lucas Grimes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.
Having lost for the first time this season, Medina fell to 13-1. As for Barker, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Barker has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Medina struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Barker might still be hurting after the 16-0 loss they got from Medina in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Bulldogs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
