 Cherokee Trail's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Delainey Miller, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madeline Gibbs, who  scored nine points.
 Meanwhile, Mullen faced Grandview in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mullen secured a  49-45 W over Grandview on Friday. 49 seems to be a good number for Mullen as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 Cherokee Trail's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Mullen,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 17-8.
