While Westminster Academy's victory against South Plantation wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Westminster Academy Lions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the South Plantation Paladins 5-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jayden Garcia was a standout: he scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Dejnak, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

Westminster Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for South Plantation, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster Academy will host JC Bermudez Doral at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. JC Bermudez Doral will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Westminster Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Plantation, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coral Springs Charter at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last six games Coral Springs Charter has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
