Rashad Dockery Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, South View got the W thanks in part to Rashad Dockery playing the best football he has all season. Dockery rushed for 320 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
The win (which was South View's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Dockery and South View will be playing at home against Cape Fear at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Deandre Nance Delivers Electric Performance Vs Purnell Swett
Deandre Nance was instrumental in extending Seventy-First's winning streak to eight on Friday. Purnell Swett had no answer to Nance as he rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Nance's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.
Nance must have Purnell Swett's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Nance rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in October of 2023.
