Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caldwell Parish). Everything went their way against the Grant Cougars on Saturday as the Caldwell Parish Spartans made off with an 18-4 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Spartans have posted since March 27, 2024.

The win got Caldwell Parish back to even at 5-5. As for Grant, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caldwell Parish will challenge West Ouachita on Monday. As for Grant, they will square off against Oakdale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Grant is facing Oakdale at the right time seeing as Oakdale is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
