Wapahani will take on Shenandoah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Wapahani came out on top against Centerville on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run sixth inning. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Bulldogs. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won four matches in a row.

Wapahani got a big performance out of Nate Luce, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. The Raiders are undefeated when Luce posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Noah Henderson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Wapahani kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Shenandoah, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Blue River Valley a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
The result came thanks to Drew Fredenburg's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up 13 Ks.
At the plate, Shenandoah's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Renz, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Collin Osenbaugh also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Shenandoah's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Wapahani, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Wapahani has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Shenandoah struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Wapahani might still be hurting after the 14-8 defeat they got from Shenandoah when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Wapahani have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
