After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willowbrook, Berwyn/Cicero Morton was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the York Dukes. The win was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Noah Cholico looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on James Richmond, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Alejandro Guzman was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton's record now sits at 6-21. As for York, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will welcome Hinsdale South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for York, they will host Oak Park-River Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
