The Windsor Wizards posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They really took it to Longmont for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-21 victory at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-6.
Windsor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reyleigh Hess, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Jiricek, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Longmont's loss came despite strong showings from Savannah Pohl and Maya Pears. Pohl scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks, while Pears scored four points along with six rebounds.
The victory got Windsor back to even at 5-5. As for Longmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Greeley Central the next time they take the court. Longmont will host Greeley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Windsor will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
