West Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryce Nannenga, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks, and Conner Schleman who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. Nannenga scored a full 32.6% of West Central's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Argos' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sean Richard, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Richard has scored at least 25% of Argos' points. Luke Stults was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
West Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Argos, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
West Central will head out on the road to face off against Marquette Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Argos, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against LaVille at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully LaVille focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday.
