Our Lady of Good Counsel won the last time they faced The Heights and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons walked away with a 10-6 win over The Heights.

Ryan Martin looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Christian Rodriguez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Brendan Spivock also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Our Lady of Good Counsel was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Heights only posted a batting average of .200.

Our Lady of Good Counsel's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-9. As for The Heights, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Our Lady of Good Counsel will head out to square off against Bishop O'Connell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for The Heights, they will venture away from home to take on Archbishop Carroll at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
