Meanwhile, Hickory got the win against South Point  on Thursday by a conclusive  3-0.
 Hickory walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11,  25-18.
 Oak Grove's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 32-4.
