The Monmouth Regional Falcons have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Manchester Township on Tuesday.
Devyn Quigley was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds for Manchester Township. That makes it 22 consecutive games in which Quigley has scored at least a third of Manchester Township's points. Madeline Nolan was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Monmouth Regional has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season. As for Manchester Township, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6.
Monmouth Regional won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Linden at 4:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Manchester Township, they will head out on the road to take on Toms River South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
