The Forestview Jaguars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Bessemer City 76-43 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Forestview has managed all season.
Leading Forestview to victory were Alex Helton and Dashawn Patton. Helton scored 22 points along with three steals, while Patton scored 14 points along with six assists and six steals. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for Patton. The team also got some help courtesy of Nico Aguliar, who scored eight points along with three steals.
The victory (which was Forestview's third in a row) raised their record to 3-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Bessemer City, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-5.
Forestview will head out on the road to face off against Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bessemer City, they will be playing at home against East Rutherford at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. East Rutherford has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 278 points over their last four matchups.
