After losing to The Charter Oak Chargers the last time they met, the Ayala Bulldogs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Ayala simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Charter Oak 45-10 on the road. The result was nothing new for Ayala, who have now won three games by 29 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ayala to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marquis Monroe, who rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards. Monroe's longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards. Another player making a difference was Maximus Barroso, who threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
Ayala is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Charter Oak, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.
