It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Laurens had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Bremen Blue Devils by a score of 65-55. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on six straight.

Perhaps the best among them was Mckayela Tanner, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 23 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Tanner has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brenda Tanner, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points and four steals.
East Laurens' victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Bremen, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.
Looking ahead, East Laurens will square off against Vidalia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Laurens knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Vidalia likes a good challenge.
