The South Lyon East Cougars will take on the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
South Lyon East fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Northville on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

In other batting news, Olivia McPherson (2026) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Plymouth Christian Academy sidestepped Clawson for a 6-5 win.
Like South Lyon East, Plymouth Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Sophie Paryaski. At bat, Paryaski went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Groen went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits Paryaski has posted since back in May of 2024.
