Parkway South came tearing into  Thursday's  match with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past St. Louis HomeSchool P  7-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Parkway South also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2018.
 Jake Frenz looked comfortable as he  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Jamison Lombardo was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  August Johansen, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
Parkway South's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-6. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they moved to 21-14 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Parkway South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  loss against Washington on the 9th. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they will challenge St. Dominic at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
