Fans got a thrill when Kyle Heflin and Brenan Kuntz connected against Southern. The longest such play in 6A District 6 this season, the connection resulted in 77 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Simon Kenton beat the Trojans 58-6. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
Simon Kenton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kuntz threw for 177 and 4 touchdowns and Kuntz had 77 yards receiving. On the ground Dillion Powell contributed 86 yards. Grant Wassom helped Simon Kenton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 51 yards.

Kuntz put up the best numbers in passing as jeff marksberry's team topped Southern.
