The Upson-Lee Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Pike County for the full four quarters, racking up a 85-52 win on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Upson-Lee who now have six in a row.
Yadiel Rosado and Nazarious McDowell certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Rosado scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while McDowell scored 15 points along with three steals.
Upson-Lee's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Pike County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Jackson the next time they take the court. Pike County will head out to face Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Upson-Lee will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
