The Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights suffered their biggest loss since January 3rd on Tuesday. They were beaten by Daleville 64-25. Indiana Math & Science Academy North was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Daleville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Daleville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addi Gothrup out in front who scored 27 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gothrup has scored all season. Olivia Pratcher was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten steals.
Indiana Math & Science Academy North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Daleville, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indiana Math & Science Academy North will take on GEO Next Generation at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (GEO Next Generation is ranked 402nd, while Indiana Math & Science Academy North is ranked 401st). As for Daleville, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Union at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Union focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
