The Twin Peaks Charter Academy Timberwolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They lost to Ascent Classical Academy at home by a decisive 49-34 margin. Twin Peaks Charter Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ascent Classical Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Chance Mueller and Angel Ortega certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Mueller scored 7 points, while Ortega scored 6 points along with 5 steals. Mueller is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ascent Classical Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy will play host again and welcome Mile High Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ascent Classical Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Twin Peaks Charter Academy at 12:00 p.m. on December 8th.
