II Section VII recap September 10, 2013
Cactus Shadows moved up to 56 from 93 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in II Section VII. The Falcons were able to make move up by beating Willow Canyon 38-0.
Paradise Valley and North Canyon played the most contested game in the league this week, with Paradise Valley eventually emerging with a 59-55 victory. Daniel Bridge-Gadd threw for 435 yards and 4 touchdowns during the win.
The Trojans' dynamic duo of Bridge-Gadd and Jordan Brown proved tough for the Rattlers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Zach Compestine helped Paradise Valley's passing attack out by catching 10 balls for 139 yards.

Joe Kuhlmann was the most successful running back in II Section VII this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 155 yards as Greg Davis' team defeated North Canyon. Payton Ringwald also contributed to the rushing game with 63 yards on the ground.
He went 37-48 with 2 interceptions.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Trojans' Bridge-Gadd and Brown have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Bridge-Gadd has thrown for 620 yards this season, while Brown has 12 catches for 178 yards. The Falcons' Kuhlmann leads the league in rushing yards with 412.
Notre Dame Prep fell to Desert Mountain 45-3 last week, the largest margin of any game.
