On Tuesday, Ascension Christian made easy work of East Iberville and carried off a 17-1 victory. Considering Ascension Christian has won eight matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Hollyn Bowler was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and one run. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Ascension Christian got a massive performance out of Grace Aucoin, who scored four runs and stole five bases while going 3-for-3. Those five stolen bases gave Aucoin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Avery Rome, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Ascension Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Iberville only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, Assumption never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against E.D. White, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since March 8th.
Ascension Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Assumption, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.
