Ava won the last time they faced Salem and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Ava's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Salem, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Ava didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-8 win against Mountain Grove on the 26th. Salem has also already played their next game (against Stoutland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
