Salem is 9-1 against Carrollton since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Salem Quakers will head out on the road to square off against the Carrollton Warriors at 6:45 p.m. Carrollton took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Salem, who comes in off a win.
Salem posted their biggest victory since December 2, 2023 on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Minerva with a sharp 50-29 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Salem has posted against Minerva since December 9, 2020.
Meanwhile, Carrollton came up short against Indian Creek on Monday and fell 55-44. Carrollton has not had much luck with Indian Creek recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Demi Leary, who scored 17 points. Brae Roudebush was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals and two blocks.
The win makes it two in a row for Salem and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for Carrollton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.
Salem couldn't quite finish off Carrollton when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 68-65. Can Salem avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
