The South Spartans will head out to face off against the East Bakersfield Blades at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for South and six for East Bakersfield.

Despite the loss, South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rodney Williams rushed for 77 yards and one TD on only seven carries. Beto De Haro helped out on the ground, rushing for 82 yards.
