It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Cashion Wildcats can now relate to. They were beaten by Dibble 72-26 on Friday. Cashion was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dibble apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.
Jag Norman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 247 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Norman is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season. Trey Ott was in the mix too, providing Dibble with two touchdowns.
This is the second loss in a row for Cashion and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Dibble, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Cashion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dibble will square off against Walters at TBD on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Walters is ranked 157th, while Dibble is ranked 162nd).
