Carbon's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Cottonwood Colts 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Dinos this season.

Carbon found their leader in sophomore Erin Hurst, who had three digs and two aces.

Carbon's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Cottonwood, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carbon will face off against Emery at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cottonwood, they will venture away from home to square off against East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
