It was a good run, but the Ocean Springs Greyhounds unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 55-42 to Harrison Central. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ocean Springs has scored all season.
Harrison Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shaun Murray out in front who scored 14 points along with four steals and two blocks. Aujaylen Barron was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Ocean Springs' loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Harrison Central, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8.
Ocean Springs will head out on the road to face off against Biloxi at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jefferson Davis County at 2:00 p.m. on January 27th. Jefferson Davis County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Harrison Central is ranked 30th).
