Andress is 10-0 against Parkland since November of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. After both having extra time off, both teams will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. Hopefully Andress focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 last Friday.
Last Friday, Andress was able to grind out a solid victory over Ysleta, taking the game 30-18. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Andress.

Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Camila Limas, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Parkland's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Burges 83-30. Parkland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-15.
Despite the defeat, Parkland saw an underclassman step up: Rachael Silva scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Silva scored 15 or more points.
Parkland struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-3) when they can't control their own glass like that.

This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Andress have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 28.4 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Parkland, though, as they've been averaging only 22.9 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything came up roses for Andress against Parkland in their previous matchup two weeks ago as the squad secured a 52-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Andress since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
