Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were beaten by the West Panthers 83-22. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  44-1.
 Vada Foster was Highland's leading scorer, having posted six  points.   Margaret Hartle held things down on the boards with three rebounds.   Katinia Olevao took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
  Fina Tuha was  her usual excellent self,  going 9 of 12  on her way to 18 points in addition to eight  rebounds and seven  steals for West.  Tiana Fa also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  block of the season.
Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for West, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Olympus the next time they take the court. West will head out to face Olympus at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday, while Highland will  host them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
