Union City's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Gleason Bulldogs 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Golden Tornadoes, who have now won eight matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Union City is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Gleason, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11-1.

Union City will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
