The Brady Eagles lost against the Loomis Wolves back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Brady fell to Loomis 37-31. Brady has not had much luck with Loomis recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Payton Stienike was Brady's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Stienike also led the team in rebounds with six.
Keaton Fattig took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with four assists.
Zeigh Booe was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Stewart, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Brady's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-5. As for Loomis, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
The two teams will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Loomis is ranked 189th, while Brady is ranked 184th). As for Loomis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brady at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Brady focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
