The Hayden Tigers's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds at 8:00 p.m. on December 14th. Hayden will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Windsor Charter Academy is ranked 12th).
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for Hayden, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-44 loss to Non Varsity Opponent. Hayden has struggled against Non Varsity Opponent recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Adrian Drew put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Logan Brown was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Windsor Charter Academy put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 60-54 W over Palisade.
Windsor Charter Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kellen Ball out in front who scored 22 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Ball has scored at least 25% of Windsor Charter Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Schams, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds.
Hayden has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Windsor Charter Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
