In what's become a running theme this season, the Red Bank Catholic Caseys gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They really took it to Jackson Memorial for the full four quarters, racking up a 84-38 victory on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-19.
Red Bank Catholic was led to victory by Tessa Carman and Addy Nyemchek. Carman dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Nyemchek scored 20 points along with three steals and two blocks. Nyemchek is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Christina Liggio, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Red Bank Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Jackson Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.
Red Bank Catholic will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Life Center Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 22nd. As for Jackson Memorial, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Freehold Township on February 9th.
