Athena Nelson put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Monday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
