Cimarron is 1-9 against the Eagles since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cimarron Bluejays will play host again and welcome the Hugoton Eagles, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Cimarron, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-34 loss to the Broncs. While losing is never fun, Cimarron can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Broncs are ranked 83rd).
Meanwhile, Hugoton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 60-26 loss at the hands of Colby.
Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hugoton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season.
