In what's become a running theme this season, the Spoto Spartans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 56-24 victory over Durant. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Spoto has posted since December 13, 2023.
Jayla Griffin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominique Boone, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Spoto is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Durant, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Spoto will be playing at home against Sickles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Durant, they will head out on the road to challenge Sunlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Sunlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Thursday.
