When it comes to explaining why Northampton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ortavia Rogers. Despite the final result, she scored six points.
West Point now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northampton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will be home for the holidays to greet Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northampton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lancaster at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
