The Riverheads Gladiators will head out on the road to face off against the Radford Bobcats at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Riverheads sitting on 13 straight victories and Radford on 14.
Riverheads extended their postseason success on Saturday against Poquoson. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Islanders 37-7 at home. The result was nothing new for Riverheads, who have now won eight contests by 25 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Radford beat Graham 22-10 on Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Radford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landen Clark, who threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Radford also got help from Sincere Taylor who showed off his sure hands for 152 receiving yards.
Riverheads has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 13-1 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 20.13 points. As for Radford, their win bumped their record up to 14-0.
