After four games on the road, Princeton is heading back home. They will take on the PikeView Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Princeton strolled past the Beavers with points to spare, taking the game 54-39.
Princeton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddie Stull out in front who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Asia Collins was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, PikeView had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-32 victory over Graham. Given PikeView's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 21st in West Virginia, while the G-Men are ranked 256th in Virginia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Princeton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for PikeView, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Princeton came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 40-38. Does Princeton have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
