Conant and Monadnock are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Conant Orioles will be playing at home against the Monadnock Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Conant will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Monday, Conant didn't have too much trouble with Campbell at home as they won 49-33. Given Conant's advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while Campbell is ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Monadnock posted their closest victory yet this season on Saturday. They skirted past Brattleboro 53-51.
Conant pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27 points. As for Monadnock, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.
Conant strolled past Monadnock when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 55-37. Will Conant repeat their success, or does Monadnock have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
