The Caney Creek Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They strolled past Cleveland with  points to spare, taking the game  56-38. The  win was just what Caney Creek needed coming off of a  69-24 defeat in their prior  contest.
 Caney Creek can attribute much of their success to  Yeiry Zamudio, who  scored 21 points along with five  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Zamudio  scored 15 or more  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa Manuel, who  scored eight points.
 Caney Creek's victory bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Cleveland, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-21.
 Caney Creek will head out on the road to  square off against  College Park at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. College Park presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Caney Creek in Texas (College Park is ranked 485th, while Caney Creek is ranked 1222nd). As for Cleveland, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Willis at 6:30  p.m. Willis is hoping to put an end to  an eight-game streak of away losses.
