The Wicomico Indians can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Queen Anne's County 81-41 at home. The win was familiar territory for Wicomico who now have 13 in a row.
Wicomico's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Se'Lah Foreman, who scored 21 points along with six steals and five assists. Foreman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 14 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Corbin, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Wicomico pushed their record up to 19-1 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.4 points. As for Queen Anne's County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wicomico will take on Washington at 5:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Queen Anne's County, they will be playing at home against North Caroline at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
