Fairfield won the last time they faced Borger and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

While Fairfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19.

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Borger, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coming up, Fairfield will face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Borger, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on September 9.
