Cordova not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 15, 2024. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Center Cougars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.

While Cordova might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Center scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24, 25-23.

Cordova's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Cordova will be taking part in a tournament against Nevada Union at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Nevada Union will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cordova surely won't give up without a fight. As for Center, they will take on Wheatland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
