Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Valley). They blew past the Deer Park Stags 72-34 on Friday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-13.

West Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Deer Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Valley will take on North Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deer Park, they and Lakeside will face off at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
