The Clearview Clippers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell to Fairview 51-46. Clearview lost against Fairview in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 57-31 score last time.
Fairview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Budzar, who scored 14 points. Gabby Davenport was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Clearview has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 0-3 record. As for Fairview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Clearview will play host again and welcome Brookside, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brookside comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Fairview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Beachwood at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th.
